Mike Cofer - back in the era when the Niners had great teams, but crappy kickers and punters.

I didn't dislike Cofer just because he sucked (he did suck though), I disliked seeing him because it meant the Niners were settling for a field goal instead of getting the customary TD.

I always liked Romanowski....he was badass when he played for us. We should never have let him go.

I don't see how you can hate Dilfer?

There's a big difference between a busted draft pick, a free agent that isn't any good or a guy who underperforms and a out-and-out THUG. Lawrence Phillips soiled the 49ers uniform just by wearing it and remember that goes above and beyond O.J. Simpson who was just a has-been by the time he worn the crimson-and-gold.

If you can't play for a soft touch like Dick Vermeil, you can't play for anyone. Phillips burned through second, third, fourth and fifth chances. Now he's rotting away in prison and nobody put him there but himself.

Lawrence Phillips was just a lousy human being and the guy I most hated to see wearing a 49ers uniform.

i would have to go with dilfer b/c he was so bad and when we had a chance against the giants and he got not only sacked, fumbled and returned for a td he said the DE made a good play when he KNEW it was coming.....are you kidding me......accountability much???
