Favre has a case to being the best of all-time. I don't believe that he is, but he has a case. However, when all the dust settles, I'd bet Peyton Manning will be the consensus greatest QB of all time.

No one compares to Joe. The closest IMO is Brady. I know most of you hate to hear that but when it was clutch time Brady was money most of the time. But Joe was ALL OF THE TIME!!!

its not even close...
this is at least the 2nd straight time that bret's last throw of the playoffs
was a very costly 4th qtr interception that lead to his team being eliminated.
it might even be the 3rd straight but cant remember.
today he had 1TD pass and 3 turnovers

Begrudgingly I agree with you.* The one thing Peyton lacked was winning the big one early in his career. To all those who thought clutch was not something you could develop, rather something you're born with, he is convincingly proving you wrong. He has to win this super to be in the conversation, but he still has a lot of football left in him.
* I completely disagree about Favre. He has no case IMO. His career average INTs per season is higher than Joe's HIGHEST single season total in a league that has gotten progressively more pass friendly. He is probably the most gifted passer ever (Elway and Marino fans can fight over that one), but for the complete package, no thanks.

Why cause of the records? He holds the record for INT's as well as TD's and he has only won one Superbowl behind some great teams in GB. He is an over-hyped gunslinger IMO. His greatest feat is his record for consecutive game played, which I very much admire that.

Peyton Manning is really the only guy we should worry about. Sure he'll never be as clutch as Joe was, but if he gets to 3 or 4 Super Bowl wins and he can his passing stats will dwarf Joes.

Please detail the case, I'd love to hear it.

Considering that time isn't definitive and seemingly no ending isn't calling someone the greatest of all time pointless? Wouldn't greatest up til now be more appropriate? oh and Joe ftw

Anyone who thinks Brett Favre is the greatest of all time doesn't deserve to have his or her opinion heard.
