What to call 49ers' offensive scheme?
Dammit....I have already dubbed it:
"SPREADCOAST®"
This is meant to be a fun thread, if U don't think it it's needs 1....cool. But the 49ers could be on to something unique & it would be an identity 4 us...like the WCO?

I agree, the need to nickname everything is getting out of hand.
That being said, it just feels right to have a unique name for an innovative 49ers offense. Might as well continue the tradition.
I like the "Jumbo Spread" because it captures the essence of what we're doing. Our base offensive personnel are equally comfortable lining up in a jumbo 2TE tight power running formation as they are in a 4 wide single back shotgun spread look.
We just need to teach Delanie how to be an effective lead blocker out of the I and we can run just about any formation with the same 11 in the huddle.

Everything....every player....every coach....every system....heck I'd bet they have a nickname for when VD takes a dump. I hate this s**t too. Waste of board space.
Now what nickname should we come up for this s**te nicknaming of everything ?
