We kind of did a reverse of this (draw play) in the Chicago game..making the D hestitate that Smith was going pass and then quickly tucking the ball into Gore's hand and it worked.
I hardly ever see a fake handoff to Gore and then a throw.

playaction usually works better when you can actually run effectively. Just in case you didn't know that.

So true. If the guy can't read the defense while dropping back, he's going to have major issues if he can't even see the defense.

Smith can barely pull out from under center with out tripping!
This was his best week under center, he typically nearly falls over his feet 2-3 times a game, this week he made it all game with out an accident, I guess that is improvement!, 10 12 years from now he will be able to pull off play action!
