What do you guys think of the job Manusky has done as our defensive coordinator?
It's been said since the offseason that our defense REALLY lacks a pass-rusher, yet we've been able to get some sacks this year. We don't have an elite pass-rusher, but he's been able to scheme some sacks.
He promised us that Haralson and Lawson would get sacks, but haven't really done much.
Against the Colts, he really made things difficult for Peyton Manning, which is a very comforting sign that we have a good DC.
I can only imagine what he could do if we had a Shawne Merriman or DeMarcus Ware on our team.

I think he's done a awesome job and I think he'll get some hard looks for HC in the offseason. I hate to lose him. Our D hasn't looked this good in a while.

What can he do? Our offense sucks. The game is on him in every time.

I also think he's done a good job. The defense has definitely kept us in games this season so far. I really like the MAGIC look defense. Everybody standing up to rush. Keep it up Coach Manusky.

He has done very well. We finally have just about every piece in place for this defense to be dominant. We will find a pass rusher and we will be a top 3 defense next year. Also with singletary and raye with another offseason under their belts, expect the offense to make big strides to become atleast effective enough to win some of those close games that we have been losing as of late. Superbowl, here we come.

I think the Offense will come around too. I really don't have a problem with J.Raye's offensive scheme. I do however would like to see some changes on play call selection. I notice we pass on 1st down run on second, and its 3rd and 12...punt. Its all about execution, but I still would to see the offense change it up ever now and then.

For what he has to work with, I think he's doing an above average job.

above average, but it seems that we don't get off the field on third downs. I really hate seeing teams complete 3rd and long (10 or more) and it seems to happen quite regularly on the niners. Look at Chicago for example, we let them drive all the way down the field. The Indy game is anotehr good example, where our D let Manning eat up the last 6.5 minutes of game clock...

I think that is a fair assessment.
At times, this D looked unstoppable but at other times, it looked lost and confused - that cannot all be pinned on coaching but some game to game consistency would be nice...Indy to Tennessee comes to mind.

I think he's done as good a job as can do with our mediocre pass rush.

He's doing a good job. He needs a mean mofo, preferably a pass rusher, but it could be at any position. Our guys have good characters on defense but we need a guy on the flip side. Borderline dirty.

We need a pass rusher, or two, and we need more speed in the LBs and the backfield. So we have some need of more players, but with what he has had to work with he has done really well.

Given with what he has to work with, he's doing a good job.
