He won't make a difference at this point the way Smith, Franklin, and Soap are playing.

He was a reach anyway in the draft.

*cough cough* Desean Jackson *cough*

Damn did you have to bring it up
It's not like we did not see him kill the Pac 10 at Cal Geesh does McClueless evn know anything about talent. I Gues just steals in the later rounds, sure picks Like VD and P Willy.

maybe he needs a tissue
yea play like s**t
On the glass half full side...

He's not a finished product. He's young and he has very good size for a DE (6'6", 300lbs). Give him until next year to show something. Remember how Ray McDonald was pretty much an after thought until this year? Guy's need time to develop.

Here are some more *cough cough's*

Kenny Phillips
Ray Rice (can you imagine?)
Matt Forte
Phillip Merling (6'4", 294lbs)

I'll judge Balmer when he's playing more than 5-10 snaps a game. The sample size is way to small to really evaluate him right now.
You can't draft guys in the 1st round and have them contribute nothing to your team. Good teams find players who play and contribute from the jump.

Good question my friend. I just feel like for discussion purposes, it is tougher to discuss positive topics.

For example: Patrick Willis had a good game last night. We all know that he had a good game last night, and he is a really good player. What else is there to say?
He maybe good in a few years but you can find projects like him in the late rounds. Not even worth a 3rd in my opinion.

Probably 60 or so. One for each roster spot and the rest for the coaches and front office.
Anybody complaining about Balmer's PR cover before halftime is an idiot. -With one second left on the clock I doubt I'd want anybody other than a qualified/mistake-free runner to attempt a kick return (if the ball was to fall into their hands).
he is playing very well. He's probably our best return man.

Please god do not get me started on how we passed Phillip Merling.
He's one of the reasons we are on pace for 11-5
