This is such a true statement. We have gone through this phase in the past and been disappointed. Lets hope this year is different. One game at a time and pray we stay healthy. These recent injuries are worrisome.
The caliber of our talent has really surpassed my expectations this season, we're a good team that's just learning to grow. -It's almost insane to think that we could be 6-2 right now if we had just held s**t together against the Vikes, Texans, and Colts.

All we need to do realistically is win out the division (at least beat the Cards and Rams twice), and beat the Titans, Bears, Jags, and Lions (and I honestly think we can beat the Packers, that team has no line or pass-rush).

A 9-7 division title is possible, but our most important games of the season will be against Zona on MNF and Philly, those are our real statement games for the remaining schedule.
Before the season, the median record people agreed we'd need to have a chance in the end after this spot was 3-4. Most people had one of the 4 loses to Arizona or Seattle, since we swept the division, you'd think people would realize we're in better shape than that median predicted. For some reason, once it got into the season, people seemed to think we need to be 7-0 or 6-1 to have any chance now. . We are still in pretty good position to take the west. Like everyone knew prior to the season the O-line is our weakspot and to compensate the qb needs to be decisive and be able to get the ball out quick. Smith has been able to do that. Consistency is our ?? right now. If we can be more consistent on both offense and defense (obviously more so on offense), than we should pull the West out.

Not only that, but the Tennessee game was looking like a loss as well. Thankfully for us, Tennessee is bad this year. The schedule would've been brutal.
