Unless I did the math wrong he's on pace for a 753 yard season

No TDs or highlight reel plays just yet, but he's been very impressive nonetheless. I think it's pretty obvious that he's going to be a really, really good player and a very important weapon for the 9ers for years to come.

lulz DHB over MC15
DHB caught one today. He's slowly creeping on Crabs.

I don't wanna jump the gun on him but I've been thrilled with his play so far. As others mentioned, no big plays or TD's but that will come. The production he's been having is astounding. He's got amaizing hands and awareness.
We need to open up this offense, let Smith rock shotgun more often and cut this guy loose along with Davis.

excellent rookie contributor. Watching him play you would never be able to guess he held out....

I think he was projecting over a 16 game season.

He played good but he still made quite a few rookie mistakes.
Failing to get to the chains for a first down, leaving the niners with a 4th and 1.
His fumble.
And I think he dropped a pretty easy pass.
Other than that he looked very good.

Thank God for that. LOL!
I'm very pleased with him. I think you have to be. Imagine how good he'd be if he had gone through TC.

Crabtree is the best WR we have, and its still his second NFL game without training camp! Dude is going to be a beast! It feels so good getting a draft pick where you just have to watch him play one game and you KNOW he is going to be a great player. Not like 4-year frickin Alex Smith lol.
And yes the Raiders are morons.

Yeah. Had to knock him for trying hard but he's a smart kid and will learn. Jones catching the punt at the 3 is what really killed me and the drop by Bruce and Davis not getting his feet down on the first drive of the game are dumb plays.

He's averaging 5 for 69 . . . that average would put him at about 753 yards if it holds over the last nine games.

Agreed.
Today he showed that he's still learning the ropes.

he looks absolutely great.
it's funny in retrospect to posters a while back saying he wouldn't really contribute to the offense until later in the year (and this at the time we thought he was maybe going to hold out only through training camp). now it is incredible to see him come in here and is above and beyond better than any WRs -- and has anybody noticed it looks like Josh Morgan has looked like he is trying harder ever since Crabtree got here?
