Tedy Bruschi says in his opinion, QB Alex Smith will lead the 49ers to the playoffs. Also, he said that HC Mike Singletary is a good HC and Bruschi likes what the 49ers are doing. He said he would have liked to play for Singletary.

I think people who want alex smith to succeed like him because Smith is a good character kind of guy....

Big props for Alex. It seems that most ex players I've heard like Singletary because he doesn't BS.

Well, it's certainly possible. I think we should go 10-6 by default by winning the games we're supposed to win (that includes the home game on MNF against AZ). Wins against the Packers or Eagles will guarantee a playoff spot, in my opinion.

He's just trying to do whatever it takes to keep his job on TV. More power to him, and I love the homerism, but I think he's just saying the "safe" stuff to be kept on ESPN
