Is someone going to step up in the locker room and right this ship? Not that it's sinking too terrible...but there's a huge gash in the hull.
Is it needed? We will ever know? Remember what Ronnie Lott did during the 88 season when things weren't going to well early in the season. We'll he spoke;his teammates listened, and then went on to win SuperBowl #3.

Honestly, we need Gore, Crabtree, Brandon Jones, and Reggie Smith when he gets back to fill in the holes and carry this team. Balmer may need to do more, too with RayMac going down and Evans doing absolutely nothing along the line.

For you Reggie Smith fans, realize this guy can't even stay healthy and is way behind plus it looks like Michael Lewis will be back and Mark Roman is his top backup so don't even expect Reggie Smith to see the field this year. I think Curtis Taylor has a brighter future with this team than Reggie Smith does.
