That is insane!!! You should chose another team as we don't need a crazy fan like you. I bet you were also the one last year who said Nolan's defensive scheme was terrible. At 5-0 look wonder who's laughing now.

Just because Hill sucks, doesn't mean Smith got better. The fact that Smith doesn't start should show you guys how bad he is.
Great logic. Would love to see what you do for a day job.
It is good logic. It fact that Hill has proved to be better than Smith shows how bad Smith really is.
Proved what??He looked like crap in preseason and won over a guy who hasn't played in 2 yrs and although he's been okay so far in the reg season, today does prove without the defense the 49ers will lose.Once they fall behind too far S.Hill doesn't have for example the arm strength to make plays downfield and put points on the board in a hurry. His last pass of the game explains it all.I rest my case.
Please name me a QB that has comeback from a 25 point deficit going into the 3rd quarter. The defense gave up about 200 yards in 5 minutes of football...
How about Montana... 1980 vs saints
Yep. I also remember Neil Lomax doing it to the Niners in the mid 80s. Reich for Buffalo in the playoff game against Houston (I think it was 32 points) is another who comes to mind.
Jeff Garcia vs giants. Woot.
Bah! I stand corrected.... as the other 80's games listed I would not know how to even check... and Garcia's was only 24 points, so ha!

There are quite a few who mention Hill has had "one bad game", "dont yank him"...
Hill is horrible. You guys hear me out please. No other quarterback has as many 3 and outs as him.
Before I go on, I dont want Alex in there either, but even though this a team effort, damn you got to be able to improvise at times and make a play.
Hill HAS played poorly in all our games. The Vikings game was his BEST!
But we all need more in a quarterback to lead our Niners than a guy who is as limited in his decisiveness as much as he is limited in his talent.
You want your QB to step into the opposing Dlineman when there is a hint of pressure? Hill is not going to change guys

I haven't seen the big nickel in Denver yet. So not sure where Nolan comes into play here.

Hill is what he is, okay for a back up but not what you want starting.

This is where this season will go if Hill doesn't step his game up.

Does the original poster really want Nolan back?

I think he is trying to say that Nolan is a better HC than Singletary

I don't know yet, I want to see Alex but then I dont. I feel as if I cheated when I want Alex in the game. Hill sucked badly in this game, his accuracy was just piss poor. Does alex have a better accuracy than Hill? I don't know for sure, 2 years is a long time and he could have improved in that aspect of his game. For sure though is that Alex Smith has a MUCH better deep ball accuracy than Hill. He also has a MUCH better arm than Hill does and can make those tight throws. I would give Hill one more chance and if he fu**s up again I think Alex deserves a chance.
The real question is if Alex would do any better with this OL? The OL is the weakest link in our team and that has to be fixed with coaching change first IMO.
