The above article lays it out pretty clearly. What really pleases me about the contract is the unique language the article mentions that ensures Crappee will forfeit bucks if he holds out again. That should keep him in line and we have him for six years. A real good deal for us if he is anywhere near as good as he thinks he is. All that's left now is for him to show us the skills and some character and we will love him for it. And yes I will stop calling him Crappee when he starts showing us something.

I won't mind seeing him hit for a little while either.

I am very pleased about where the whole team is at. A lot of people say we are very similar to the Vikes only they are better if only for having Farve and because our offense sucks. Well the way I see it their offense only has so much upside and Brett may very likely wear out. Seeing how our offense has sucked, and now that our number one pick has finally been added, we can only improve and our offense may yet click late in time for a play off run.

California dreaming again.

You know if we all really want to get the last laugh can we all stop talking about Crappee and start talking about the Falcons.

He signed a 6 year 32 mil. now baring any crazy incentives, it looks like Crabs got what he wanted.

Those numbers on Crabtree -- six years, $32 million, $17 million guaranteed -- are dead on.

Its ALL about the guaranteed money. He did not get close to what he (Parker) wanted.

1) 17 million guaranteed is a win for us.
2) 6 years is a win for us.
3) Pro Bowl / playoff incentives is a win for us.

Parker lost BIG TIME.

Parker can NEVER try this type of stunt again. Teams will laugh in his face knowing that he is full of it.
no one really. It's too late for him to contribute this year and the salary didnt change. I see a lose lose situation for both sides.
