blocking schemes

ok so i'm thinking that our offensive offense (ck spelling) is not just due to playcalling but it is due to the ol scheme.

i haven't had a chance to examine in detail but watching the other games this weekend i saw how the center/qb/OC made certain calls to slide protection left or right dependent on where the press was coming from. OR that run blocking schemes involved identifying who each line man was taking or what area the lineman would go. i just don't see our o-line doing this effectively when i watched us against the rams.

i'm sure some of you out there who know more about o-line then I have thoughts. would love to hear them. what kind of blocking scheme do we run? i know its not zone and we dont do many traps or counter try things.

i'm sure we need more talent but i think better schemes can go atleast some of the way. no way our talent is that bad that our rbs are averaging 3 yards or less. its gotta b the blocking schemes in my mind. well that and the jmorgan squat play.

ok thanks for ur input.
