No, I don't care at all what the rest of the NFL thinks.
They hated us when we were good too....

You guys are kidding yourselves. We won't make the playoffs. Maybe next year, but this year...no. This team is not very good. Everyone around here has lowered our standards. The Niners of the 80's & 90's would've never been happy about losing.
You really don't think this team has a legit chance to win the NFC West? This team is one play away from 3-0. What the hell are you watching?
Same team you're watching. We barely beat a horrible AZ team that is starting to play better. They'll beat us next time. We barely beat a horrible Seattle team that had no QB. Next game, they will beat us in Seattle. Minnesota is terrible and we can't beat them.
In the 80's & 90's, we were devastated by losses. We've become losers now, accepting defeat with a smile. That's pathetic. Ronnie Lott didn't cut off his finger for this kind of crap.
A horrible Az team? That same AZ team beat the 1-2 jaguars. besides we match up very well with the cardinals.
Minnesota team that is terrible? They have a gread D-line and the leagues best Rb who we held under a 100 yds. so i really don't think we're watching the same games.
Yes, after a loss, it always amazes me how much minimization and denial of the other teams contribution there is.

Doubt we'll get any props. All we'll ever hear from this game is Favre's heroics.

ugh for the whole week on ESPN. it's going to be a long week... and it will be so f**king annoying seeing that stupid catch over and over. and i guarentee you the highlights will only show Viking plays. i hate ESPN's biased coverage of football.

what are you so pissed off about bro? your complaining as if were the same team from the last couple years! we beat the defending nfc champs at home, regardless if it was the first game of the season. if anything, it sucks for them cause they have to face us on monday night at home! we were beating seattle even when hasselbeck went down! whats your point? why are you b***hing? we beat two teams from our division in which everyone thinks will finish with a better record than us. look at arizona, they killed jacksonville! look at seattle, they are winning right now, so what??
we have a good team and ill tell you why. . . .
1. The vikings are supposed to be a super bowl contender to begin with. did we stop AP? yes, aside from 2 good runs, we stopped that beast! he was frustrated all game long!
2. we didnt have our number 1 weapon! gore was out after the first play!
3. we lost with 2 seconds to go, on a long td winning score, even though our offence only produced 2 good drives all game!
4. we were up 24-20 while going 0 for eternity on 3rd downs on offence!
5. the refs scored at least 3 points against us.
6. we played them at home and had the game
7. for those who say we scored 1 td on a blocked field goal, well they scored one on a punt return... those cancel out
so if you think about it, we went to THEIR place, against a supposedly superbowl caliber team, our offence stunk up the joint, primarily because our best weapon was out all game,... and we lost on a last second "hail mary" if you will, (great throw, dont mind me).. any other team wouldv gotten spanked, but we held our heads high and almost came out 3-0!. i feel bad for the rams!, we are definatley gonna take out ou frustrations out on them and get ready for ATL!
so stop b***hing, feel good about how we played and know were gonna be fine . were 2-0 in or division, bout to be 3-0 and thats all that matters! This is not the sam eteam wev had over the past years. its a special team, its only a matter of time before our offence gets going. lets be glad we have a team that can play til the end against the best teams and go forward
go niners! im proud of this team, as is coach sing, as should all of us be

I agree.
I love this team. They play together, and they fight until the end.
Today was a tough loss to swallow. We were 2 seconds from being 3-0. I understand those who are frustrated. You cheer your hearts out for these guys, and just when you think they have it won, along comes that future HOF QB who has done this once or twice before, and slings a strike to snatch victory from our hands. It's tough... It's tough, it's tough, it's tough...
However, what I saw was two two tough teams. It just so happened that today, they were one play better, and a little luckier. That's football.
I do love how our team fought until the end. I'm proud of the way they hung tough down 10-0 early, on the road against a very good team.
I'm going to keep the loss in perspective. Wins are all that counts in the standings, however, I didn't ever expect 16-0... Wins are not all that counts when it comes to building team chemistry though, and these guys are really coming together.
I think maybe some see how close we were to 3-0 and start becoming a little unrealistic with the expectations.
This team is going to make some mistakes. We will have some calls go against us. We will lose some games. However we are clearly much better than in years past, and if you are too angry right now to see that, I would only be wasting my time trying to convince you otherwise.
I for one am really enjoying what I am watching this year.
Let's give a little credit and respect to the Vikings as well. That's a tough team they have there too. I hope we do see them again in the post-season.
Great game today! Even if the result was less than desirable.

These losses are the worst ...
To quote the biggest coach meltdown of all time:
"We let them off the hook!"

Eff the respect! We didn't get any for losing a game we had won. We lost because of one thing or another that we didn't do, not because they won it. Respect? Winning teams find ways to win and losing teams find ways to lose. Guess which one we were today. We are playing tough on the road and can't win them all, but this is one we were in position to win and there are no excuses. Games like this with decisions like this bite later when respect doesn't mean a damn thing if you're not in the playoffs.

I heard what he said. Last play of the game was poorly defended and shouldn't happened. He a great D coach so I'm inclined to believe it was a mistake on our coaches and players for that last one.
