Did Gore get Faster?

Did Gore get faster since we drafted him? I remember prior to this season, he used to get caught from behind constantly. But in those two long touchdowns, he seemed to able to gain more separation as he ran and none of the SeaCocks were able to catch up 2 him. Before he wasn't able to create this separation. Thoughts?

No. The Seahawks got slower.
The seahawks have one of the slowest if not the slowest defenses in the league (actually, their whole team is slow). Did you guys see how slow their safetys and cb's were. They pretty much play zone 90% of the time to compensate for their lack of speed.
It seems like he got faster on that second 80 yard run lol
i voted yes, but idk if thats really true. if u remember some of those runs where he got caught from behind, he also got hit, and broke a tackle or two before breaking away then getting caught. the runs today he was pretty much untouched, so of course he had the energy to keep his speed up and run away from defenders.

Exactly. Jordan Babineaux looked ridiculously slow. And Ken Lucas couldn't catch Frank from behind.

Not to take anything away from Frank, but he's just not that fast.
yep, he slimmed down a bit and got faster. He used to get caught from behind alot on those long runs.

True
he looked like he was faster, or like some have stated seahawks defense was just slow.

agreed, if you look at their last few drafts, they have not drafted ANYONE with elite speed. Deon Butler (probably their fastest guy) and he couldn't crack 4.4
He magically became faster today, at least...

Barry Sanders wasn't known as the fastest dude ever... but he busted some long runs in his day.

They both had two 75+ yard runs in a single game.

Frank Gore is a complete running back and one of the best in the league... get used to it.

Frank is the man, but our running game is going to go the next level when we draft Chris Johnson 2.0, a.k.a. Jahvid Best.

I want some real speed in our backfield.
