Yeah, we are a more talented team and this team is better at things like creating turnovers,and forcing 3 and outs. our ol is better even though they havent been great so far. this team has questions, hill makes me nervous at times, i dont like the stupid tasercat thing, and the recievers need to get more seperation. the ol needs to keep guys off of the qb. but we are more talented and beating better teams, and doing it with skill and not luck.

Dude, you gotta stop hanging off Smith's nutsack. Dont tell me we were the same "exact" team in 2007. Go access the archives; after week 2, the majority of the Zone was questioning our offensive philosophy. That team was ultraconservative, and Alex (despite playing it safe) didnt contribute to the wins. Hill is MAKING plays; sustaining drives; putting up points. All Smith did was throw it out of bounds on 3rd down every other drive, and let Gore do all the work.

I dont see many doubters flagging the Zone after today (as opposed to 07), do you ?

Meth, the 2009 Niners are actually driving the ball on offense and playing the best defense we've seen out of the red and gold in close to seven years. Nolan was coaching scared in 2007. And it was obvious early on that Hostler couldn't call a game. Raye, however, is getting the job done, as is Manusky's swarming, simplified 3-4 defense.

My bad didn't mean it like that. I'm really happy with how Hill is playing, hopefully he looks to Morgan more often though. From what I saw from watching the game live, the dude just never looks at morgan's side of the field. it's weird lol

Main Difference- Patrick Willis was a rookie in 07. Now he is a veteran and leader of this D. He will make us a top 10 D.

'07 was literally a NIGHTMARE FROM THE START. Nolan couldn't manage the personnel, Norv Turner f**ked us in the butt, Alex Smith went down in week 3, and we had Billy Davis calling the defense... BILLY f**kING DAVIS!

That team's mindset/focus HAD NO DIRECTION WHAT-SO-EVER (nobody was held accountable, the loonies were running the asylum during training camp), and 2 words that should never be mentioned in 49ers QB history again... Trent Dilfer.

Alex Smith was absolute garbage in the first two games of 07. Shaun Hill was at least respectable. That's why we're going to make the playoffs this year, while we collapsed in 2007.

It is 100% different than 07. This year we are executing, and im talking about from the very start to the very end. Defense looks legit, and with Gore looking fresh, and Hill converting those 3rd downs, our team looks like a legit 9-11 win team!! Main difference is Singletary of course

yeah i agree, that was actuall manuskys first year as a dc though. bvt i agree 100 percent.

This team has gelled a lot more than 2007.

This team has a lot more experience, better offensive coordinator, better head coach, better D-line, defensive backfield etc. etc.

I could go on.
