Spencer wins #2 corner spot

Good for Shawntae. I always liked him. Something tells me that by the end of the season Tarrell Brown will be our #1 CB.

damn straight it's always a longer season when you have playoff games

i don't care who the starter is as long as they cover the damn receivers and stop getting burned(That means you Nate Clements). Also some INT's would be nice as well.

This makes a lot of sense seeing that we're running a 3-4. -On numerous occasions between 2007-2008 we utilized Spencer as a double-option CB, he's a wildcard for opposing offensive tackles in the pass-rush, and snuffing out the run. -When Spencer is healthy, he has the speed/juke to circle around the offensive backfield. (In fact he makes Manny Lawson look like a joke while doing it.)

A lot of people remember his Kitna hit, but his most impressive play IMO was when he shut Adrian Peterson down with a 'gliding' trip which forced the Vikings offense back almost 7 yards.

But again... his effectiveness will only be measured by his health, so thankfully we'll be covered with Bly if anything happens.

Why is that a yikes? I think Clements could be a pretty good safety toward the later years in his career.

That was a great hit, but he was fined $7500 for it. Nonetheless, it was probably worth it for him, as we're still talking about it.
