Although M-Rob is a great special teams player and very versitile, keeping Sheets would've added some fresh new legs and explosiveness to our roster. Running backs have a short shelf life in the NFL. It's all about fast and dynamic rookies nowadays.

I would have loved to keep both, but Sheets would make a nice 3 back rotation since Gore is injured often.

If he can gain 20 pounds then he has a very long career as a FB starter who can really help spread a defense. I really think he should be put on a one year program to become our starting FB.

Except for the fact he cant block well. Blocking ability on kick returns does not translate to FB
