And Philly is paying majority of his salary. Can't beat that.
if literally all he does is explode off the edge on obvious passing downs and generates pressure then he's worth every penny

The only thing the 49ers are paying is a $7.95M fully GTD salary for 2025, in 2026 he has a $1.215M non-GTD base salary, a $1M roster bonus due on the 3rd day of the new league year, a $250K workout bonus, and he has an option bonus worth $14.635M, $17.1M in total for 2026, it's why I say if he keeps it up the 49ers should extend him, he already has void years in his deal that would prorate the option bonus over 5yrs, mine as well give him a 4yr extension, not sure the money, but wouldn't be anything near what we gave Bosa, I like Bosa, Huff & Mykel for the future TBH at EDGE, I like Sam O, also Beal, I don't see Gross-Matos back in 2026, same with Jauan Jennings, he turned down an extension for $3M in incentives of which $1.6M count against the cap, $1.4M are NLTBE, he'd have to be even better than last year to hit all $3M of his incentives, but this is very doable, keeping Huff past 2026, even keeping Jauan would be doable, but as soon as the deal voids he's gone, he's gonna test FA, we won't be able to compete, especially if he wants $20M or more a year, no way am I giving another WR $20M+ a yr, if he'd take $15M a yr I'd do that in a heartbeat, 3yr $45M deal like McKivitz got..

If he can add to what he did last week? Not a question, it's a must.

I think we may see more of that as the season progresses and he gets more familiar with the players around him. If Collins and West can develop to compliment the othe rinteriorlinemen thern we'll see more more sacks and pressures from the edges. They wont be able to be double teamed as often.

I wonder how he'll do on grass in comparison to how he did on turf. Like everywhere on the team, I just want to see progress.

If it slows him down it's going to slow everyone else as well.

Yeah, but some players just play better on turf in comparison to others, and some play better on grass than others. The change between turf and grass is not equal between players.
