How in the world does the league allow Malaki Starks to pair with Kyle Hamilton at Safety? That very well could be the best young Safety duo in the league. It's like playing Safety on cheat code. It's absolutely unfair. They also added pass rusher Mike Green who is highly productive.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.: "B+. "Malaki Starks will help there. Next to Kyle Hamilton at safety, he has the closing speed to arrive as the ball does and either break up the pass or immediately wrap up the receiver. Starks also spent a lot of time at slot corner at Georgia, so Baltimore can use that versatility to its advantage."

They added Emory Jones a nice offensive linemen in the 3rd round. Definitely got better on defense. Seems they always allocate resources there. Added a few on offense too. This defense will hold down other teams. It will be tough to throw in the middle with those 2 Safety's. Helping Lamar and the offense because they won't have to score as much.

Their draft was pretty good IMO. The Safety duo is like cheat code. Just ridiculous. I wish we had 2 Safety's like that.

that's what they said on nfl network. they said for some reason, the nfl just lets these guys fall to balitmore and philly. in the baltimore case i am kinda glad, cuz the AFC needs a heavyweight to keep the Chiefs out of their 4th straight super bowl. i think KC will be stronger than ever as their entire WR group is healthy for the first time.

It's just unbelievable with the Safety they already had in Kyle Hamilton. I can't imagine throwing in the middle with both of them. With the long arms and height of Hamilton and the change of direction and quickness and tracking the ball in the air of Starks it's just ridiculous. Crazy to think how dominant they could be. It's unfair. LOL.

i think on paper the matchup of reid, mahomes, and rice, worthy, brown vs harbaugh, hamilton, starks, green and others, that's an even better matchup now. the moves baltimore makes are all driven by mahomes, they need to get past kc and they know it.

Yeah that's probably true. I'm envious of their Safety room. I wish we had something like that. But I like Mustapha a lot. Plus the speedy 4.37 Marques Single. Not sure if he will be anything or not. But we need more speed at Safety. So it's good. Ravens have 2 big time stars there though. It will be interesting to watch that develop this year.
I never understood the concept of "allowing a team get a guy". Teams passed on these players and so they picked him up. Teams dont make picks in spite of other teams, especially in the first round.

Starks has question marks of his own and is far from a slam-dunk pick. He needs to hit the weight room because teams WILL go at him and try to isolate him in the run game. If you notice a trend with the Niners DBs, they only try to get DBs that are good in the run game. The only two exceptions were Tarvarius Moore and Rock Ya-Sin (a cheap FA pickup)

He's 6'1" 197 lbs. That's 3 shy of 200 lbs. Hardly tiny on height or weight. He's a stud of a player.

We pick guys for the run game? We just picked a 5'8" CB who sometimes has been listed as low as 176 lbs. Sometimes as big as 181 lbs.

But he's a HUGE 5'8" and an ultra sturdy 176 lbs. apparently.

this is why our DB core usually SUCKS
Ravens have the best DB core in football now.

Plus they just signed Jaire Alexander from the Packers. I don't see how the ravens aren't favorites to win the Conference next season.

Only 6 mil to. This is why the ravens will always be contenders. While other teams just sit on their @$$

Until Lamar plays better in the playoffs it won't matter who they add. They still have 0 SBs with him. And I..a fan of his, but he's gonna do it when matters the most

How in the world did the 49ers end up with Lott, Wright and Williamson all in one draft so they could add them to Dwight Hicks? All pro bowlers.

You can say that about nearly every QB that hasn't won a SB. Even some that did. Brady didn't have big games in some of the Pats SB wins.

This has nothing to do with Ravens offering him the best contract he can possibly get at this point of his career. He turned down more money to play with the Ravens, it was more of him wanting the best chance to win a ring. Other teams didnt just "sit on their @$$"
They just can't beat the Chiefs
