They shouldn't ban the play. good news

i don't necessarily think the league should ban the play. i do think it's unfair that the offense can push and the defense cannot push. the way to stop the play is to pack the D in tight and have a second level (LB level) pushing your DL. that would balance the play out and stonewall the offense. but the D isn't allowed to defend the play that way. i don't like that aspect of it. if the D wants to sell out to stuff it with their own 'shove' they should be allowed to do so.

Interesting i didnt know the defense could not do that. I don't like the idea of banning plays but they have banned stuff in the past which gave 1 side an unfair advantage. Like plowing over the long snapper on field goals. Nobody complains about that anymore.

I don't know why all teams don't incorporate the tush push. 3rd and 3. Just do a tush push on 3rd and forth down.
I think its dumb as hell for NFL players to be in the Olympics. Lets some guys whose not making multiple millions of dollars have a chance to shine instead.

MONEY + EXPOSURE. NFL wants their athlete's to be brought up and have the NFL brought up during the Olympics. I agree. Let the UFL guys or the legit flag football players handle that.

Yeah the nfl is trying to become international Olympics would definitely help with that. Which all around sucks if you're a season ticket holder are you supposed to fly out to Europe to use your ticket? And all the additional travel for the players
I really want to see the 9ers on hard knocks but at the same time I can appreciate how well they've kept things under wraps

If some NFL guy tears a ligament or breaks a leg in the Olympics we'll see an end to this nonsense. I'm against all pro athletes competeing in Olympic events. We don't need golf , tennis, baseball. and soccer in ther Olympics. These team and pro events take exposure away from track and field, swimming and other events that aren't seen by the public very often The problem is now that we have NIL the line between pro and amateur has been blurred.

"Irsay had dealt with health issues of late, having been treated for severe respiratory illness in January of 2024 and,
in March of last year, said he was doing well after his 26th surgery in the past seven years"

That boat sailed a LONG time ago. When other countries are sending pros everyone is going to.
