It was really an idiotic move by KS10 to put a rookie on 95 w/o any help from the backfield.. we gave 44 the most money at his position to run a swing pass where the ball was never going to him instead of helping out 76

It ain't odd. They realized they overpaid him. No need to make it worse by playing him just b/c you paid him.

They also signed him not knowing the draft outcome - they selected an OT in the first round that was coming back from injury. And really they can get out of the contract after one year.

So I wouldn't be surprised if we sign him for a budget deal next year.
