Lol. I forgot about that. That was really odd...even down field.

LOL poor McFloppy. Obviously, Trey didn't intentionally dive into McGlinchey's leg, but I wonder if that play had any impact on McGlinchey's eventual season-ending injury. It was the right leg, too.

Didn't Mcglinchey tear a bicep o I don't know what running into the legs would have to do with anything
Glinch tore a hamstring or quad

Yeah, he said he had been injured for a long long time and was somewhat relieved when it finally popped so he could get the surgery. But I can't remember when it actually popped. But to Hero's point. Having a 230 pound QB diving into the back of your legs certainly didn't help those hammy's.

I disagree, Acho. Everything that I am hearing from people within the locker room is that Trey IS it.

Yeah surely Emmanuel Acho talks a lot with Kyle Shanahan.^^ I guess Shanahan and Lynch lied to us when they said they wanted to trade Jimmy G. Or maybe Nate Sudfeld is the next starter? He throws pretty spirals isn´t it?

Yet we will not hear a peep about this in national media and they'll still continue in the narrative that no one in the building has a positive opinion on Trey

i mean he only played like 80 downs or something last season and it didn't stop people from proclaiming he's a bust. lets take it both ways!

Not going to click on that link, but I think when all is said and done (given his internal makeup and talents, and Shanahan's coaching talents) Trey Lance will be the best QB of both the '21 draft (where he was drafted) and the '22 draft (where he could have been drafted number 1). I can't wait to see this season unfold as I think we as fans are in for great things.
Happy Friday to everyone out there let's see some more of those TL tosses.. extra crisp with the high velo
Who are these people talking to the media saying Trey is underwhelming, a bust, etc.?

I don't know how good trey will be but we gotta wait until he plays games this season to say anything.

Maybe Rich Scangarello.

Unless it comes from the lips of Kyle or John, that s**t goes in one ear and out the other.

I don't Kyle would say anything negative about Lance Tbh. We'll soon know if there's any truth to these reports come training camp if we see Lance and Jimmy sharing reps with the first team ( unlikely Imo )

Could be rich, could be deebo, could be some random PS caliber player, who knows? Now I'm realistic and know that there is an obvious chance Trey sucks, but there could be a chance he's the next breakout superstar, none of us know until players from other teams comes after him on the field. Like most have noted, mahomes sucked in practice before his incredible 2nd year.

My gut says it was Rich, it's why they let him go to Kentucky. Why would you let go of your qb coach when he has been coaching a young QB unless he sucks or he doesn't like Trey. He might very been the one spoon feeding the media about Mac at 3 cause that's probably who he wants.

Were all rooting for Trey to succeed and personally I think we will end up the best qb in his draft class. He has the right mindset and is in the best situation.
I shake my head when I hear people say Trey or Kinlaw are busts when neither one has had enough playing time to show what they have. Kinlaw actually showed some promise in his rookie year but then was injured all last season. Some of the same people that quickly proclaim them busts will defend Jimmy forever despite the fact that we've had plenty of time to see he's okay but not the franchise guy we're looking for.
