Mac Jones-QB-49ers

Additionally, I don't think anybody is factoring in how much stronger this team will be with JG's $27.5m to spend each of the next two years. I don't see that's worth keeping him for the two games he'll start before he rolls his ankle and never gets back in front of Mac again.

And you might be right on the draft chart. That's why I'm paying close to 700 points on a 150 point bill. You've really gotta be in love with somebody and pretty sure somebody else close behind you is too to refuse that.

I think all these QBs in the top 5 are great fits for Kyle. I don't think it's "just" Jones. I actually think someone like Fields could be a better fit (Louis Riddick actually talked about it today). Same with Lance, he's a little green but runs a lot of the same stuff.

Yeah I'm with you on Jimmy, I just don't see them rolling with a rookie for whatever reason (even though I think they would be just fine).

Sounds like we might be able to get by with Jimmy's contract for one more yr...I wouldn't hate Lance/Fields behind Jimmy and then trade Jimmy next yr.

we will see.

There... I said it.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I truthfully believe Lance is only QB available at 12. The only one I want nothing to do with

I can see the Panthers snagging him as Matt Rhule coached him in the Senior Bowl. If not, he is not getting past Denver because Drew Lock absolutely blows
Heard something interesting the other day from NextGen analysis. Kirk Cousins has the highest % of on target throws, so is the most accurate QB.

Even if Mac comes and brings his processing and accuracy, is it even going to matter against these rifle armed, mobile freaks?

I'll take quick processing/accuracy vs. strong armed/mobile QB's every day.

So would I, my point is that you might just need them all, I'm taking what I can't teach, and then backing my coaches and the kid to do the rest.

Coaches have been taking what they can't teach for years.

Teams love falling for these elite athletes because they think they can develop them or at least hide their flaws... so many have been fired when they can't.

What about the ones that do? What about the Mahomes, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert's of the world.

These other QB's are not just athletes, they've all shown high level pocket QB play, just not as consistently as a guy who sat for 3 years learning a pro offense.

So now you are taking shots at him sitting for 3 years? But not about the guy who got beat out by a guy like Jones and transferred or a guy who was FBS?

And sitting behind a guy that went top 5 overall BTW. yet had a better season with less talent

Mahomes is the current standard. As for Allen and Herbert....I do like what I've seen but I definitely nee to see it again.....especially from Allen. Dude goes from one of the most inaccurate QB's to top 5-10 or so? Yeah, I heard his mechanics and such were worked on....I still need to see it again.

I'm still taking pre/post reads and pure accuracy over everthing. I'm not even saying that is Mac Jones.....I dunno.....I'm just talking QB aspects.

Didn't Tom Brady just win the Super Bowl? Many ways to skin a cat. Tampa Bays defense just won the super bowl

I'm down for Wilson,Lawrence or Lance.

Not beating up on anyone, just pointing out that the other guys haven't had the same opportunity for development, when they get that in the league they could have every bit as good from a processing stand point, yet still have they're natural gifts.
