I think we need Kinlaw to eat blockers in the middle in order to win. I have been very hard on this guy this season, but i see good signs lately. JAVON IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLAY YOUR BEST GAME EVER AND WE'RE ALL GOOD.

Wouldnt be surprised if he goes to Seattle with them hiring the Baltimore DC as their head coach.

I've always wondered, what if Kinlaw goes to Seattle or Las Vegas and becomes Chris Jones by the time he's 28
Some guys take a little longer to develop, but time is not on your side in the NFL

We've stuck by Kinlaw and given him chances. I think if we give him a fair offer, he should stay and keep working under Kocurek. If it doesn't work out, OK, but I'd give him at least a two year deal to see if he can become more than a reserve.
If we don't sign him, then we're drafting another project in the later rounds to replace him. Tough decision
Last time the 49ers played the Chiefs in the Superbowl, 99 had a monster game. I don't remember the numbers, but it was something like 2 sacks and 3 QB hits. Big players make big plays in big games.

We need another huge game from our current 99. Keep those pads low, violent hands, chop those feet and fire off the f**king ball with bad intentions, Kinlaw.

I like it. Maybe some faith for a week or so, and see what happens. At a certain point when you make or indeed win the SB, we may have to dial the complaints back.
Kimlaw is the man

Bull Rush the hell out of these Guards and het in Mahomes face.
Just as long as he's trending up.

Yeah I mean no guarantee either way. I know Kyle has had a mindset of not just stockpiling at positions but I think that should only be the case if you have great depth and great starters already in one spot. We don't have that with our roster in quite a few areas. Our defensive depth across the board is honestly pretty poor. But specifically we lack quality interior depth.

Could be his last game as a 49er. If he balls out, can't afford him. If he's not good, don't want to keep him.

Damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Kinlaw has made improvements this season. Not surprisingly, it's also his first healthy season since his rookie year and since his big knee surgery. DTs take a while to develop coming from college so when we take a step back and look big picture, he's actually progressing at a normal pace if you consider how much rehab he's had to do that prevented him from practicing and getting better. While he hasn't progressed as much as we'd like as a pass rusher, I don't see him getting pushed 2-3 yards off the line anymore on run plays.

There's no way he becomes Chris Jones lol 😂 His 80yr old knees will be shot by then.

We just need another DJ Jones to rotate in.
These dudes can have a 3 sack game and they still should let him walk. He's just wasting a roster spot. Hope he balls out and then rolls out.

Agree. Kinlaw has good plays, but doesn't really stack good games. Let him walk and get the comp pick.
99 is having an incredible game
