So, he played for Shanahan and knows how to choke in the superbowl...he'll fit right in.

Probably saved some cash and got a depth OL. At this pt they're either rolling with Brunskill or gonna draft a dude. No way his the starter.

Tom Compton was drafted by the Redskins in 2012 where Kyle was the OC. Then joined him in ATL. Only started 9 games 4 seasons with Kyle Shanahan. https://t.co/IIO9Vv3Nhv

Tom Compton's salary-cap hit is projected to be a bit bigger than Mike Person's was, so the 49ers ran a guard swap here. Compton is a Shanahan guy: Washington drafted Compton in 2012 (Shanahan era) and then Compton joined Atlanta in 2016, when Shanahan was there. https://t.co/2dwykBvGU0
