If he could give us 5-10 snaps a game and play more during the playoffs, yeah. Dude is a legit threat when he's not hurt. Unfortunately, he always hurt so it's not the worse loss but you can never have too many pass rushers.

i was super pissed cuz of the knee thing.. then i tried to have a open mind.. it worked for a bit and then well. the chiefs fans were right all along about him

Teams take chances on guys that have injuries all the time. This gamble worked for one year and then it was over. He helped them get to the SB in 2019 taking a lot of pressure off Bosa. Someone will take a chance on Jimmy hoping he can stay healthy more than one season.

Not as bad of a tease Aldon Smith was

Aldon Smith had 44 sacks in 50 games as a 49er (4 seasons).

Dee Ford had 9.5 sacks in 18 games as a 49er (3 seasons).

How is Aldon the bigger tease? Aldon was an All Pro for us. Dee Ford never was. And if you want to look at Dee Ford's entire career, he had 40 sacks in 85 games. Aldon had a better 4 years with us than Dee had in his entire career.

No comparison at all here.

Watch him sign with another team and play 3 injury free seasons and be a big impact on a easy contract for said team.
