I want the talent, but not the personality. If he was 26 or 27 i'd give it a go. But hes already 30.

No Thanks. Steelers have a tight locker room and winning culture. If he can't handle it there, he would implode here. Plus, that's way too much money in one skill position. Give me another TE to complement Kittle and a lesser known solid talent at WR and we are good.

I have seen you post this before and I have no idea why you continue to push this idea that we need a 2nd tight end. We dont. A 2nd tight end is so far down the list of positions we need to prioritize. Maybe so far down the list that its not even on the list.

And tight locker room? There are constantly reports that say the opposite. Literally every year.

I disagree. Another bad ass tight end in this offense would be almost unfair to the rest of the NFL. Do you not see the matchups Kyle is able to get Kittle? Imagine another similar talent at TE getting the matchups left over now that teams have started doubling Kittle.

I think he did (Edit: A fan posted it to him and asked if he'd like to be a 49er. He liked the post so wasn't him ). Maybe there is something already in the works? Maybe he didn't play this last week because he knew he was leaving? Maybe this is all conspiracy theory. Fun to think about the possibilities though.

How many double tight end sets do you guys think Shanahan uses? I'll save you the time of researching. The answer is almost zero.

We dont need another TE. We need better WRs. And edge rushers. We need better guards. Maybe a new center. And cornerbacks. And safety help. And middle linebackers. Safety depth. I think a new punter. We need to replace Gould if he isnt re-signed.

A #2 tight end is no where close to an actual thing of need.

I need to know the full story regarding if he truly quit his team last week or not. If he did -- I just can't image Lynch making that trade. Or at the very least, paying market value trade comp.

Give them a 3rd
Yeah I'm all in on this.

If a trade were to happen after June 1st wouldn't it only be $7M?

He skipped Saturday walk through and still expected to play .

There is no way something is already in the works. Teams can't trade until mid-March. Lynch and Colbert having a handshake deal in place 24 hours after the season is over isn't realistic.
