What's next to protect the players? No linemen on kickoffs, no hitting above the shoulders or below the knees, headless players, no risk of trauma. the list can go on and on. The game will resemble a Hollywood movie script with take after take until the right outcome is achieved, Have they made the refs full time employees yet or does that interfere with their full time jobs.

Vikings appear to be the real deal... even their scrubs look like they can give our starters a hard time

Mike Glennon 2/7 for 11 yards and a pick. Who ever thought this guy could be a starter in the NFL?

Hindsight is 20/20. There was a time he looked fairly promising. 19tds/9ints as a rookie had some ppl thinking he was better than he turned out to be.

I think jimmy will score points but we know you take a dig on him anytime you can.
CJ should go in so we can hopefully score.
I dunno man. That Vikings defense looks pretty tough. Jimmy hasn't looked too sharp this preseason. We're going to need a perfect game from him just to keep the score respectable.
Also, a perfect game plan by Shanahan and coaches will be needed to defeat the Vikings in Week 1. They look legit.

Paxton Lynch's passer rating this game was almost half what it would have been if he'd just thrown the ball at the floor every down and walked to the bench

I thought he looked decent, didn't have much time to throw, man that OL is straight garbage. People complain about the 49ers OL but the Cards are trash, especially after losing their center for the year.
I don't see how either Bradford or Rosen make it for very long.

Lolwut? Dude has been killing it in practices by all accounts. If you mean the lone series he's played thus far, that's much too small a sample size to draw any conclusions. Sounds like you just have an axe to grind.
I can only go off what we've seen in games. I'm not sure how much stock to put into performances from camp considering how easily the Cowboys scored a TD against our defense.

I just saw some pretty off throws, rushed some of passes and looked pretty indecisive at times. true his O-line wasn't doing him any favors but I expected a little bit more from someone as confident as he is. Now Darnold, I thought he looked like a veteran out there, excellent pocket awareness and made plays when his O-line broke down. I think the jets have something in Darnold, I still wouldn't rush him into the line up though.

Did you guys get the Denver broadcast lastnight for the game? Brian Griese should have his announcer priviledges revoked. Some of the dumbest s**t I've heard from anyone on the game. The topper, suggesting you can put Alex Smith, Keenum, and Cousins in a hat and pick one. They are all the same. He then said the Vikings made a mistake giving Cousins the money. They could've kept Keenum and spent that money elsewhere. On what exactly? Quarterback is the missing piece on that team, everything else is solid.
But back to the Cousins, Keenum, and Smith hat comment. Keenum isn't even in Alex Smith's ballpark. Keenum had one season last year that Alex has had 7+ seasons of. When Keenum leads the league in QB rating, makes 3 Pro Bowls, and wins 60% of his games. We can then talk about Keenum being on Smith's level. When he has 18 4th Q comebacks and 22 game winning drives, we can talk about that. When Keenum has 6 years of a Qb rating over 90, we can talk about that. When Keenum has 4 straight years of 65% or higher completion percentage, we can talk about that. When Keenum has 7 straight years of 8 interceptions or less, we can talk about that.
Until then, shut the f**k up about garbage ass Case Keenum!
I left Cousins out of this because I think anyone with a f**king eyeball can see Cousins possesses a different skill set than these Qbs. Watch the New orleans tape from last year. He can make throws these 2 Qbs simply can not make. Cousins has 5000 yards 30+ td and 70% completion ability.

He was running for his life most of the time, they just didn't give him much time to do anything really. Also his center snapped two or three way off the mark pretty much. I think Rosen can be a QB but because he's largely a statue, they'll really have to invest to put some good quality pass blocking OL around him.
In Josh Rosen's preseason debut, he was either pressured or received a bad snap on 11 of his 13 dropbacks. He had an average of 2.13 seconds before he was pressured

They might have something good in Kanoff. Decent arm. Throws accurate catchable balls.
