Seattle was just better. We couldn't match up with them. Our front 7, our strength, routinely got gashed for 100 plus yards by Lynch.
Their front 7 routinely shut Gore down.
Their secondary easily blanketed Boldin and Crabs, and had VD scared to death.
Both QBs would suck, but one was working with no running game and going up against an all time secondary with short/slow/scared receivers. The other was always getting help from his RB while going against a vulnerable secondary.
In the end, I think if we just switch our secondary with theirs, we dominate that rivalry. It wouldn't be close.

Yea not to mention it took taking our HFA away with the Brees call, and completely rigging the NFCCG for Seattle to squeak by. That's how good Harbaugh was.

The rivalry was beautiful, I actually hated Pete and the Seahawks (still do but not as much). Those big games could have gone either way but Wilson did his act and came up with something out of nothing ever time. Advantage Mr. Peanut.
