I believe the Jimmy deal will look like a bargain in 2 years when you see QB's in the mid 30's mark.

With Ryan set at 30, does Rodgers get 31?

For sure worth it...the issue is they currently have $1.9 million in cap space according to OTC (worst in the league). How the F they gonna work that $30 million into that, along with rookie contracts?

They need to come up with like an extra $15-$20 million somewhere

Freeman completely whiffs on a block yet literally everyone blames Shanahan for this play lmao.

I'm sure the structure is going to pay him out am extra mil this year or something and then kick in all the monies next year.
Lol idiots
While the free market part of me wants no restricting of contracts since teams should be able to pay their guy as much as they want but I'm wondering what would happen if the nfl went to a contract structure like the nba with max contracts.

It would be interesting. Either way we got a steal with jimmy g

Actually the 9ers won. Had we tagged Jimmy and waited we would be paying him more than this and Rodgers deal would be done by then too. Potentially even a new deal for Russell Wilson too whose deal runs thru 2019.
