They decided to pay an older, declining player what they were going to pay Crabtree?

Gruden is a good coach, but he's terrible at evaluating personnel. (fully understand McKenzie is the GM)

I dont think its fair to say he is declining when the only basis for that opinion is his down 2017 year that Brett Hundley was the quarterback of the majority of it.
