Somewhat, but not as much with Elway. But that's also over 30 years ago. Offenses have changed a lot since then. If thats your style today, you wont be doing too much winning.
Alex is uber conservative, obviously, a lot more than the "norm." Although, a lot of the league has basically gone way more conservative with their passing attacks. Throw the ball a lot more, but less risky and a lot less INTs. Look at Brady for example. Precision offensive machine but mostly dink and dunk. That's why I like mahomes he lets that s**t rip
