We already bent over backwards for him when we gave him a second extension a year after the first one. He strong armed us into that deal and did himself no favors with the FO.
Then he continued to struggle to stay healthy.
He owns some of the blame if we are being honest.
He's the best oz threat in the nfl. You make it sound like we did him a favor to pay him 2.6 in 2019 and give him an extra 500k in 2020. While were paying midget mckinnon 4 mil for trying out different hospital beds and zero impact coleman 5m.
Pennywise pound foolish imo. Point is, he could have helped and we could have tried a little harder.
Best threat doesn't change the fact that he is the least reliable best OZ threat in the league. This FO should not be in the business of resigning UFAs who are only going to play half the year.
What Coleman and Jet were getting paid was relevant to their dictated market value when they were free agents. McKinnon though restructured in March of 2020 to less money given he had been hurt and unable to compete.
