He assembled the triplets, won 3 rings, and even today when I look at the Cowboys the problem is not personnel. They found a pro bowl caliber QB in the 4th round, good backs, great receivers, great line, good players at all level of defense. Talented club.

Your take is the conventional wisdom. It doesn't explain how they have such a stacked roster. Number one offense 2 of the last three years. You can say he's meddling and that's probably true but heck if I owned an NFL team you are darn right I would want to have some say in the operation it would be my life work as he has done.
