One thing Rosen has over almost every other QB I've seen in a while: stands strong in the pocket. Doesn't get fazed. Even though defenders are on him in like 0.0 seconds w/ that crap O-line.
Could stand to bulk up a bit, though. He's not gonna be a running QB anyway; might as well get bigger.

I agree with some of this. On tape he doesn't seem to use his eyes to manipulate defenders as much as I would like. He's got the arm and talent to get away with it at that level. Maybe he feels like he doesn't have all day, or maybe his understanding of presnap coverage is that good. I don't know, but staring guys down is something he'll have to grow out of.
Totally disagree
It's like he's speaking Mandarin. Viewing games through a kaleidoscope.
Rosen is by far the most polished QB as far as going through progressions, mechanics etc. Sure he makes some bad decisions but that's what happens when your defense sucks and you're always having to push the ball downfield from behind. He makes far more good decisions than bad, even under those circumstances. Made a couple bad decisions in that historic comeback vs Texas but so what? There is no perfect QB. Never will be.
It's not about his numbers. It wasn't last year and it isn't this year. It's about his mechanics, pocket awareness, ability to go through progressions and NFL throws into tight windows. He simply has the "it factor".
This is as close to Rodgers as we've seen in years. More of a Matt Ryan Rodgers mix.
He needs to play on a team with some talent on both sides of the ball so he doesn't have to carry the whole team. He's asked to do too much each week at UCLA and still isn't an int machine. (*cough Darnold *cough)
He'll be the top QB coming out. If he slides all the better. We may not end up with the #1 overall pick.
People criticizing his stat line from the last game probably didn't even watch it. "Look at those bad stats/ints". Then people say his stats are only good because "physical skills". (One int was off a WR's hands. The other the WR ran the wrong route on a deep ball)
He gets by on physical skills? He doesn't play outside of the pocket. If anything his lack of physical skills has been a criticism. He's not a broken play QB that plays outside of structure like so many athletic QB's these days. He's a pure pocket passer.

Pocket awareness and decision making are my 1a & 1b for selecting a QB

My main selling points are Rosen's feet, nice smooth quick release and ball placement. His feet in the pocket are very Peyton Manningesque. And with his ball placement in a Shanahan offense dumping it off to to RBs would be huge. Anyone who isn't hyped about his potential is just reading stat lines.

Threw a game losing pick last weak after getting rag dolled and looking fazed. In fact thew a couple of bad picks this way last week.

Huh? Rosen's eye manipulation is far ahead of every QB in this draft.
This is NFL level quarterbacking. Rosen knows it's cover 3. Play action from under center. At the end of his drop, Rosen moves the deep middle safety by peeking to the left and throws on a rope to the deep dig in the vacated space.

Shanny undoubtedly got a boner watching this play.

people keep on thinking he is slim. He isnt as slim as he looks on TV. He is 6'4 and 218lbs. Exactly the same size as Matt Ryan.
