Good luck recovering from that meltdown Atlanta.

who knows if they even make it back there again...especially with Shanahan leaving them.
I noticed something odd on the sidelines during the whole game. When the Falcons defense was on the field Matt Ryan was on the sideline, constantly pacing back and forth with his hands clasped behind his back. He was clearly nervous the whole game, but more strange that he didn't even bother to sit down and look at photo stills or talk to anyone about the defense or strategy. Weird.
Still cant believe they choked like that

Had ATL ran it on that 2 and 1 even if it had taken 3 downs to get that one 1 yard....all this choking talk would have been mute. I still didn't understand that call. Ryan could have just laid out to get 1 yard.

But....never bet against Brady and Belichik. Those guys know how to win. Those 2 SB losses could have easily been won if a couple things had gone their way and we'd be talking 7 SB's instead of 5. Getting to 7 SB's though since 2001 is a story in itself though.
There's some bad hombre's in New England
Watch Kyle feel he has unfinished business in Atlanta and decide to stay

This not sure why people continue to think otherwise

So if he called a run, with no effect, the FG missed, everyone would complain that it was to conervative.

This. He stayed aggressive. They were up 19 to start the 4th with Brady on the other side. When you have the league MVP on your team, why TF would you take the ball out of his hands??? Poor execution and a lack of discipline cost them that game, not Kyle. People used to always b***h about Harbaugh getting conservative and then turn around and say Kyle should've been conservative he stayed aggressive and trusted his MVP QB to make a few plays instead Ryan fumbled the ball and when he did make the big play, it got called back for holding

Pats run defense also tightened up in the second half. They held the Falcons to 18 rushing yards on 8 or 9 attempts in the second half.

The Atlanta D was gassed and the offense did not have nearly enough plays. Did they choke? Definitely. It's easy to point fingers and blame play calling but in the end it was a collective collapse .
Why isn't Richard Smith DC of the Falcons taking any criticism?

I'm not going to blame the ATL D because they were not going to stop Brady the whole game. Brady's receivers were dropping on point passes left and right in the 1st half. It was only a matter of time before they got their sh*t together which came just at the right time. I'm going back to the 2 and 1 play-call, the sack, then the penalty that took them out of FG range. Those 3 plays lost it for ATL. Forget about everything else that happened in the game. They were at the NE 22 yard line with an elite FG kicker.

The 49ers came back and lost, falcons on the other hand dropped the ball.

Re-watched the game last night and noticed the two point conversion by the Pats should've been a offensive PI. Pats receivers were blocking right after the ball was hiked.

Just my 2 cents.
