I had a feeling that he was a "Dead Man Walking" ... a "Stop Gap", once The Rams announced their move (back) to
Los Angeles. With a new stadium forthcoming, and being back to where it all started, they might as well start fresh.
Keep him around to help facilitate a smooth transition to the West Coast ... give the new/old fanbase a name they
recognise, give him a season -- or two at best -- and then drop the guillotine. It might sound cruel, but his record
speaks for itself ... It's what I would have done, if I were the owner, or GM.
In his 22 years of being a Head Coach in the NFL, he's had:
- 5 seasons @ .500 win/lose record
- 11 seasons between .167 and .467 win/loss record
- 6 seasons with 10 or more wins
