Their supposedly vaunted defense hasn't been that much in 2016 ...
... he should've been fired a few years ago.

I had a feeling that he was a "Dead Man Walking" ... a "Stop Gap", once The Rams announced their move (back) to
Los Angeles. With a new stadium forthcoming, and being back to where it all started, they might as well start fresh.

Keep him around to help facilitate a smooth transition to the West Coast ... give the new/old fanbase a name they
recognise, give him a season -- or two at best -- and then drop the guillotine. It might sound cruel, but his record
speaks for itself ... It's what I would have done, if I were the owner, or GM.

In his 22 years of being a Head Coach in the NFL, he's had:

  • 5 seasons @ .500 win/lose record
  • 11 seasons between .167 and .467 win/loss record
  • 6 seasons with 10 or more wins

Thoughts?

I might be up for that but how long has it been since he was a coordinator?

Still would probably want Petine or bowels or Bradley if they came available though

Rex Ryan might be an option too.

Man there's just way too many good options. If we can't land any of them then

out of all if Rex Ryan is available he is my pick..i love how hard and aggressive his D plays for him..hes a great defensive coach..he would make all the young talent the niners have better and confident..

Even he doesn't want to work for the Yorks.

I'm assuming he'd want to win? So that leaves us out of the equation

Too funny.....LOL

I hope that clown is never coaching here.
I'd be good with that. Or, i was reading that Rex Ryan might be done in Buffalo, i'd be good with him to. Either way, we have to fire our DC for sure!

Neither Fisher nor Rex Ryan will be DC's. Fisher hasnt been a DC in over 25 years and there is no way I see a guy like that going back to being an assistant. Ryan would sooner get a TV job.

The only Ryan you'd be hiring as a DC is Rob.

this man is correct.

Kyle isn't leaving to take the exact same job with us. Besides even if he was willing to the Falcons would never allow it being a latteral move. Only way he is leaving ATL is for a promotion to HC.

Where have you been the last 6 years or so?
And why should Shanahan jr. make a lateral move, to a worse team in particular?
