Torn ACLs happen. Could just as easily happen to Peppers.

What Cleveland is learning is he is terrible at coverage.

Says who?

Except your leaving out we talked about Malik being injury proned.. I'm on record stating Malik should sit out..

Who says he cannot cover? You?

A rookie that is learning out of position? Now he cannot cover?

"In 11 games, Peppers has 49 tackles with two passes broken up playing mostly the deep free safety position. The most tackles he's had in a game was against the Bengals on Nov. 26. Peppers was inactive for two games with a toe injury and missed the Packers game two weeks ago with a knee injury. In addition to playing on defense, Peppers has returned 24 punts for 144 yards (5.9 avg.), including a long of 25 yards. He also has eight kickoff returns for 161 yards (20.1 avg.), including a long of 29 yards."

It's a start for playing out of position unlike Hooker who was rated #1 and can't stay healthy in a single position let alone 2 or more positions in the National Football League...

With the time Peppers spends on the field, the risk is higher for Peppers... Peppers time on the field triples Hookers.

Hooker cannot stay healthy playing a single position meh.

Stop the shenanigans..

For what it's worth PFF has peppers with a 46 ranking in coverage (that's jimmy ward range ) hooker coverage rating is 81.2, PFF is in no way the end all be all at all just throwing out what they've said.

Also hooker and peppers aren't the same type of safeties imo. Peppers is a SS hooker is a FS. At least that's how I see it.

Understood.. But Hooker doesn't have a Qb throwing to the other team as well. The defense is always on the field. Deshon or any other Qb can't stop giving the ball away.

Look how long Clevelands defense is on the field. The problem is there offense can't stop giving the ball away.

I don't care if your deion sanders.. If your on the field 24/7 the receivers are bound to get open, adding he is learning a new position.. Along with returning and kickoffs.

No worries at all... Actually I think he has done a solid job considering the challenged offense and hooker can't stay on the field. Numbers don't mean anything if you cannot stay on the field.

Deion would have wards numbers if he stood on the field all game as well. Sooner or later the offense has to create a drive.

Peppers plays all day long. 2 or more positions in the NFL for a rookie? Not bad considering the situation..

We all remember Greg Williams right? He is managing the best he can for year one, when he doesn't have his corners.

They are not giving up big plays over the top 🤔

They are getting beat up front.. But Peppers sucks? How many times they have been beaten over the top????

Peppers is good guys but he cannot be in two places at once, that's not possible in this realm, maybe in a parallel universe but not in this one.

The dislike for this guy is blinding. Let's open up a can of love and put the shades on brethren's.

Nice try guys 😂

It's not dislike so much as it's argument against your odd infatuation and insistence that he's a yearly pb/all pro type player since before he was drafted abd your inability to move from that stance period.

He may be a very good player, right now he's just ok.

Lol

No spinning allowed. Actually if you read the posts, this dislike or hate started along time ago.

The only obsession here is the constant hate and knocking on the kid with out proper research or to even find out why he is in that position in the first place.

I like looking at facts. The fact is, Greg is using him as a safety net because he has no corners.

The damage is being done in the front, not the back end thus he is doing his job.

There's plenty of pages hate/dislike for him since he arrived at Michigan. All you have to do is go back and read and you will see the hate.

No fabrication here, I also said Jourdan Lewis will be a stud as well. It's the hate for Michigan players and it's ashame.. You barely see any posts. The Jim Harbaugh hate still lingers... Very evident..

After all they were the #1 defense in the league last year.. Over Alabama.. Jabrill was a big part of that..

These are facts, not emotions.

The only infatuation is the one not just giving him a chance.. If you read previous posts, news outtings.. He was labeled a drug addict and wouldn't be able to finish this year because he is on the syrup, with one game left looks like he will finish the season, playing 3 positions in the nfl..

Haven't heard of any positive tests??? I just choose to give people a fair chance until they prove me wrong instead of listening to nonsense.

Facts

Jourdan Lewis is hardly a stud. He's an nfl starting corner.

For his rookie year, 3rd round pick. The stud status is within reach by next year if not arguably now. Don't know what Deion is talking about but holding Russell to 93 yards is not bad.

"While the offense struggled, the Dallas defense did its part. The unit allowed Seattle to gain only 136 total yards of offense. Quarterback Russell Wilson, who has been in the conversation for league MVP this year, threw for just 93 yards, although he did have two touchdown tosses and a 107.8 rating. Wilson was also the Seahawks' leading rusher, but that was for a mere 29 yards."

Most around here never gave them a chance despite being in the #1 defense and making their presence on the field last year...

Excellent play to cut the route on Ju-Ju for your 2nd int of the season Jabrill.

Correction first, the other one was in preseason.

Don't forget "Wu's bias"

👀

"We're talking about Peppers and how he's on the 'lean' and the 'molly,'" Parr is heard saying on the recording.
"Listen, the guy's not going to make it, OK? The guy's not going to make it through the season. I told Hammer last week, he's another Josh Gordon," Parr added. "I'm telling you, I've seen it first-hand from a different vantage point. It's the same thing all over again."

"How are you already high out of your mind when you've only been here a week?"
"We're not talking about all the kids. We're talking about Peppers, and how he's not going to make it, because he's on the 'lean' and the 'molly,'" Parr added later."
