Giants are gonna pay that man, it's gonna happen dude. Plus Kyle isn't gonna make a guard the highest paid guard in football. Go look at how him and his dad roll.
Throw in he's not an ideal fit for this scheme and the fact that there are possible better scheme fits outside of him in FA and the draft.
I'd rather get Zach Fulton or Sitton for a 3rd of the price who could fit this scheme better. I'd rather draft a ZB guard then pay him $60 million

Well that's just false lol. Just because the giants want to pay him doesn't mean he isn't coming here. We have just as good a chance of it as anyone.

I think you're putting your personal analysis in front of what we know, or don't know, of this regime.
We have basically nothing that tells us what they will/won't do. We're all just guessing.
Nothing they've done thus far has pointed to a trend. If that was the case, we would just assume they're not interested in WRs over 6'. We have nothing real to base opinions on.

Yup, three in a row for agreement. Perfect type of mid level signing. Helps protect Jimmy, a savvy vet to help the youngsters, and can be jettisoned as soon as our guys show sufficient promise.

The GM that brought him into the league is in NY, they need a OG worse then we do, his OC is the OC in NY, throw in reports that if the agent takes him anywhere outside of NY it will result in friction...oh and yeah throw in that NY wants to make him the highest paid OG in NFL history.
He's not coming here dude and he's not a ideal fit for our ZB scheme either.

I'd love Sitton here. He is still one of the best guards in the league but he is a big injury concern.
Originally posted by Dillesq:How is he not an ideal fit? Maybe isn't "perfect" but that doesn't matter. He would greatly improve our running game and pass protection. We have a ton of Cap space and are poised to challenge the nfc as the beat team. The giants are a dumpster fire. Free agents care about money but they also care about winning.
That report about him and his agent clashing doesn't even make sense lol. Do you know how this work? Teams call and make offers. He doesn't take them anywhere. You think players are loyal to coaches and gms who drafted? No. They are not.
