Not because of Buckner

agreed, just saying.

We got exposed w/out DeFo.

our secondary did for sure.

So did our pass rush. Teams can T-off on Bosa if they can block everyone else 1-1.
Defense looked pretty much the exact same as last years 2 matchups with AZ, albeit a bit better yesterday.

Niner defense looked different without him, he made splash plays that made a difference last year.

You guys are over-reacting. If it's not Kyle Murray back there, we have 4-5 sacks easily and two of their scoring drives don't even happen. You guys act like he's not an extremely elusive QB. Russ Wilson does the same thing to us. We need to scheme better but the pressure is / was there.
Lol we payed better on D yesterday than we did either game last year. We caused no turnovers last year and allowed more points. Bosa was a non factor in both games, as was the rest of our pass rush. People have short memories here!

We sacked Murray 7 times last year.

I thought the defense played pretty well outside of the 4th quarter. Really the difference from last year was the offense. No sanders or deebo, our running game was lacking and Jimmy g was completely s**tty.

the defense was totally gassed. our offense again, didnt pull their weight. all that energy exerted to beat their blockers only to still constantly chase down Murray and have him escape.

Offense had the lead for most of the game. D should never get gassed at "home" but outside of this the Dline snap count high on Sunday was 57 for Bosa, then 52 for AA. Everyone else was in the 40's and 30's as they ran a regular rotation.

Bosa played like 57 snaps or some s**t. are D was gassed toward the end of the game

our offense was how bad on 3rd down? D should never get gassed at "home"? what does that even mean? Lol

I disagree, most of our "splash plays" last year were with Bosa and AA. Not so much Ford and Buck.
