Even as a Niners fan, I have got to give credit where credit is due. Russell Wilson has come a long way this season. He didn't look good early on, but he has thrown for 24 TDs to only 1 INT over the last 7 week. Those are incredible numbers.

Yeah, people forget this about Brady. It wasn't until 2005, his 5th year as a starter, that he threw for over 4000 yards, and he didn't hit 30+ TDs or 95+ passer rating until 2007 when he got Moss and then put up insane numbers.

Wilson didn't play at all in the fourth quarter. He shredded the Cardinals defense in the first half when the Hawks built up a 30-6 lead.

Yeah, the Cardinals had nothing to play for...except the #1 seed and HFA throughout the playoffs. The Bucs led early against the Panthers and Carolina didn't start pulling away until late in the first half. By then the Cards had already been curb stomped into submission by the Seahawks.

If either team had an excuse to mail it in it was Seattle. They were playing for a nearly meaningless move up from the 6th seed to the 5th (which they didn't get when the Packers lost) and were without five starters with no bye next week to heal up like the Cardinals have.
