Wow that's one big ass punter, hopefully he can play QB as well. Patriots selected a long snapper right after that so who am I to question.

Other people have stated it. The ONLY reason for this pick is to save money the way I see it. I don't see it as being worth it in the least bit. If he can't beat out Andy Lee, then we've wasted a 5th round pick.

Well maybe we go with Lee and Pinion for a year with pinion doing mop up duty or preseason then lee is traded or cut next year. would make sense since lee goes from 2 to 2.8 to 3.4 to 4.1 and i knew sooner or later he woudl have to restructure or be cut
that or with us we probably plan on turning him into a kicker lol
