In response to this and to DeepNiner... I actually felt like it was the perfect split. MAAAYBE we should have given El Guapo like ten or so carries, but Gore I think for this year they can work well as a 1-2 punch and then next year transition to Mr. Hyde being the feature guy.

stop with the downgrading of gore,, there is nothing wrong with gore for gods sake.. you note that we ran against 9 men fronts in the second half so those plunging runs would no be there,,,, now maybe i am all wrong and maybe i do not see what others see,, but nothing gore did makes me think he is strong. hyde is younger,, he is probably a titch quicker than gore but lets not run around crazy ... by the way in my opinion there is going to be NO primary runner this year. i think they will split carries 50/50 esp rotating amongst each other like we did in the 4th quarter sunday.. if you get a lead in the 4th and those two run well, we can not lose... now by game 6 we need marcus or someone in here because we do not want these guys worn down by the time we hit the stretch run and face seattle

of course philly is right,,, this two back system esp in the 4th quarter with a lead is the way to go,, i am positive of it.. gore seems more than fine with it and that is ok with me.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with gore. we need to run power runs with gore that's what he's best at. run traps and whams and things they actually block for. not stretch plays.

and run everything else with hyde.

Hyde seems to hang that ball out when he's got room in front of him, but neatly tucks that ball in at any hint of a defender.

Good to see he didn't cough it up. While he appears beyond "baby step" observations, we are dealing with a rook.

Oh, and NO WAY was he going to be denied that touchdown. Dude is an animal.

rb is different imo. you can learn to "get it"

or you can just "have it" hyde has it.

My favorite hyde run

tacklers just fall off that guy. he has to have tremendous strength to do that!
