Cousins' pocket presence and field vision is far more polished and refined than RG3. RG3 likely would have struggled even against Atlanta's weak defense/secondary today.

RG3 obviously has more upside so I think in the future, he can be the better QB IF he can stay healthy (but given his injury history, that's a big if).

Redskins are such ass clowns for not starting Cousins earlier.
