2014- $14.4M, ($2.4M is on Vikes cap as dead money from prorated bonus)
2015- $15.4M ($2.4M again)
2016- $15M ($14.75M base, and $250K workout bonus)
2017- $16M ($15.75M base, and $250K workout bonus)
Would love to have AP on our team, but not with that kind of money. We'll have to lose some stud players in order to make some cap space for AP. Im fine with our RB core right now, hopefully Lattimore will pan out next year.
If we wouldn't spend big money on Peyton Manning, we shouldn't spend that type of money on ANY player outside of the 49ers organization, including Adrian Peterson. I don't recall Peyton's exact pay, but Peterson seems like he's in the same vicinity.

With the Vikes getting a new stadium in a couple seasons, trading away their best and most marketable player wouldn't be an option the Vikings brass would consider, unless Jerry Jones pulls a Vito Corleone and makes them an offer they cant refuse .... but Jones will need to offer the Vikings a plethora of draft picks to pry # 28 away from the Vikings

Wouldnt be surprised if the Colts try to get AP after the fiasco of a trade for Trent Richardson.

I love this. Whenever there is a question about salaries or player contracts AB pops out of the ground like a prarie dog and slaps down the numbers. It's hella awesome AB and you are underappreciated. one of the best and most useful members of this board

aren't these the two teams that made a similar blockbuster trade at the same position (RB)? Herschel Walker and some picks for a boatload of Viking picks that essentially set up the Dallas dynasty.
this could be interesting.

If I'm Jerry Jones, I'm going after DEFENSE, that defense is an embarrassment to the NFL.

I remember Walker being described by the Vikes as the missing piece, all they needed to take them to Super Bowl domination.
Whatever happened to that?

Surprised to hear Garrett throw Romo under the bus in his post-game press conference.
