Brady can point at a player that tackles him and the ref will call a foul. The 49ers will protect Kaep, the NFL surely won't, it's out of their time zone.

Brady can point to a player that tackles him and the refs will call a foul. Kaep will be protected by his men, the issue is outside of the NFL's timezone.

His late hit, a cloths line tackle out of bounds, on Kaepernick merits a fine.

The punch he threw at Staley merits a fine; the slap also.

yea, if they're gonna fine that dude from the Bucs for what he did, Matthews late hit and ensuing swings, were much, much worse. makes no sense. Unless I"m missing something and the dude from the bucs has a history of late hits.

The team's own outside linebacker, Ahmad Brooks, was penalized for roughing the passer two series later. The league fined him $12,750 -- $2,250 less than Matthews. Receiver Anquan Boldin was fined $7,875 for a late hit on cornerback Jarrett Bush in the third quarter.

So Brooks gets called for a late shot in the field of play but Mathews gets a similar fine for a flying clothesline out of bounds. Yeah good job goodell. And Boldin got fined for that block he laid on the Kap run? Horsehit!
