Yep, especially Baldwin since Harper is 6 foot 1.

Just means our scaps AND yours are much better than most other teams castoffs.

And two of those were Seahawks "scraps" first ;-)

btw ~ including Harper, 6 ex-Hawks have been signed by other teams in the last 24 hours . . .

Sean McGrath - Chiefs
Ron Parker - Chiefs
Jaye Howard - Chiefs
Jerrod Johnson - Bears
Winston Guy - Jaguars

Can't wait till we can talk about actual game action as opposed to who's winning the scrap heap battle ;-)

I'm assuming Harper has the most potential since he was just drafted in the 4th.
strong big bodied receiver with good run blocking skills. May be a bit of a project but me gusta
Better receiver, route runner and blocker than Gray, but smaller. I'd be surprised if he was active any time soon.
The Chiefs must be really unhappy with their depth. Letting the NFC West build their squads. Not the worst teams to pick though.

One of the Matt's thought we were targeting him in the 4th, instead of Patton.

Some of these personnel decisions Baalke is making... puzzling.

all the tweet said was that Harper was picked 5 spots ahead of Patton. And that "presumably" means we were targeting him, which i dont necessarily believe but oh well, we have both. We are the 49ers, we can do whatever we want.

No doubt. As fans of our respective franchises, we KNOW that our two teams are the deepest and best teams in NFL. Whomever wins the division will have a leg up on the NFC Conference battle and the inside track to win it all. Bring it on, 12th man! We are ready.
Seahawks think we're pathetic for signing him

lol

I don't see how any of our moves are puzzling. I hate giving up on a young guy like Cam, but I trust our staff has a better understanding of these guys than we do. We continue to build draft capital which will help us immensely when our cap is going to be tied up to guys like Kaep and Aldon over the next few years.

I said it's puzzling because I'm an idiot and don't see all the moves and angles that Baalke and company do. In Seattle's eyes, Harper was more hopeless than AJ Jenkins. What are we going to do with him that Seattle couldn't.

Whatever they're doing, we're fortunate to be in the slow play position. Not having to worry about adding talent now, and being able to rely on healing players and draft picks.
