Something no one has mentioned...Does the signing of Chris Harper mean we are not signing Owen Marecic?

Harper can likely play FB, WR, and TE - perfect Walker clone.

Marecic could play FB, RB, and LB - two-sided depth.

After the initial reports of us "signing" Marecic they've all changed to us simply "working him out"

Just watched some of his highlights. Looks slow, no seperation, so so hands and doesn't seem to like jumping up to compete for the ball. Just my 2 cents.

Judging any WR from KState is taken with a grain of salt because Klein had the arm of a 5 year old - also judging him by a single game highlight against Baylor, which had fast DBs compared to a guy who ran 4.5 without pads is also something that needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Harper was chosen 5 picks in the 4th round, before we chose Patton... I wonder if we would have took Harper instead if both were on the board?

I think he can be more of a Delanie Walker replacement

The only down side is he's going to be 24 in September.

Doesnt seem very impressive at all. Should have kept Gray. If we do sign him, welcome to the inactive list.

I did like Gray better but Seely had to have his guys I guess
