Either they trade away draft pick for him and let him walk away via free agency next season, like how the Rams traded for Sammy Wakins, which was stupid,
or they trade away draft pick for him and overpaid him in a multi year contract so front office don't need to worry about looking stupid if he walk away via free agency next season. This would be similar to how the Rams traded for Brandin Cook and overpaid Cook. This wasn't a good trade either.
